Elk Meadows Lodge is conveniently located off of Highway #1, the Pintler Scenic Route, that winds from Anaconda to Drummond, Montana

The Lodge offers 360 degree scenic views.  Views to the West include the beautiful Sapphire Mountain Range and virtually all of Georgetown Lake.  Georgetown Lake provides what most would call the best trout fishing in the state.  Winter brings the opportunity for ice fishing for a variety of species, including kokanee salmon and rainbow and brook trout.

The Butte airport is just 45 minutes away, with service from Horizon and Delta. 

The charming town of Anaconda is 14 minutes to the east, and has a hospital, post office, emergency services, and grocery stores. Just outside of Anaconda is Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, with natural hot pools, resort accommodations, another golf course, and waterslide.  The town of Philipsburg is 20 minutes to the west.

Georgetown Lake and the surrounding area is truly a year-round destination, with a tremendous variety of recreational offerings available to suit the most diverse interests and needs.  Whether it is world class skiing, ice-fishing, ice skating, sled-dogging or exploring via a snowcoach, Winter is one of the best times to visit the Elk Meadows Lodge.  Springs and Summers are equally fun, with hiking, biking, and a variety of water sports representing the focus of fun.
